We are going to Dublin for a RDS primary science fair our project is tSunamis . So far we have done how tSunamis happen and the aftermaths . We are also learning to play the tin whistle the songs we have learnt are happy birthday and molly mollone .We  are starting to do a Christmas play called tinsel and teatowles . We started the play in November and it is on the 19th of December at 1.30pm. Our whole class is looking forward to Christmas.

We entered the RDS primary science fair 2012, we got a place in the competition and we will be going to Dublin in a the next few months. We went to the library to see Judi Curtin and we got her autograph. I am reading one of her books now. We drew the Google logo for a competition. The winners drawing will be posted on the internet.

Our class wrote a book about ourselves in English a week ago. We also entered a Christmas card competition for the Late Late toy show. For music we started learning the tin whistle. We learnt all of the notes. Everybody brought in books from home to read in school.

Ms Ni Thuaithaigh put on a slide show about the presidential election. For art we coloured lighthouses.

Since September 4th class have created lots of art such as pictures of fireworks in the city and an Autumn scene.In music we listened to lots of different types of music and drew pictures of what we think it was about.For history we learned about different things such as Lakes of Ireland,the lungs and saftey .Did you know that a lake is surrounded by land and does not touch the sea!In maths we learned how to multiply by 3 numbers.We really enjoyed it.In P .E we played Chinese soccer and we also went to play gaelic with Mark.We also went out to play gaelic with Mr McEvoy.So far the class really enjoyed it.In our Irish lessons we learned how to ask questions and we learned poems off by heart.They were easy enough.Ooh I almost forgot,we have a new teacher called Ms.Ní Thuaithaigh .She is very nice and we all really like her!We also went on a trip to the Shannon library.We also recieved an unexpected visit from a big,hairy spider!!!
